Speaking at the announcement of the new Market Discovery fund, Enterprise Ireland has expressed concern that Irish companies are still largely unprepared for Brexit. The new fund provides up to €150,000 to support companies to diversify into new markets and expand their presence in existing markets outside of the UK.
The head of Enterprise Ireland, Julie Sinnamon, stated that not enough companies had looked at the risks associated with Brexit and put a plan in place to deal with them.
