School visit by Eversheds Women’s Leadership Initiative forms part of the firm's Early Learning Initiative partnership

As part of its involvement with the Early Learning Initiative, Eversheds hosted a lively and interactive International Women’s Day talk for female Transition Year students in Mount Carmel Secondary school, King’s Inn Street, Dublin 1, encouraging the students to see themselves as potential entrepreneurs/women in senior positions in their chosen careers, and to see the opportunities rather than barriers for women in the workplace.  Eversheds brought prominent food writer and restaurant owner, Domini Kemp, to the school to talk to students about her own experiences, and her views about the qualities needed to run your own business.

Pamela O’Neill (Partner and Head of Eversheds Women’s Leadership Initiative) talked to the students about the EWLI, explaining why initiatives like this are important for women in the workplace.  Aisling Gannon  (Partner and Head of Eversheds Corporate Social Responsibility Group) discussed the Eversheds relationship with the Early Learning Initiative, the importance of education and the opportunities it brings, outlining some of the headline qualities and skills required to be a future business leader and owner.
