Central Bank Deputy Governor states hard Brexit now realistic prospect

It was reported on 16 October that Central Bank Deputy Governor Ed Sibley stated that a hard Brexit with no transition period is increasingly likely.

Mr Sibley said Brexit was one of the Central Bank’s biggest priorities and that it had dedicated its most senior and experienced supervisory and regulatory experts to work on it.
