PwC warns that a hard Brexit is most likely
- Ireland
- General
03-05-2018
In its Spring update, entitled Brexit: Lighting the way, PwC warns that a hard Brexit is most likely. Last year, PwC published its view that a hard Brexit was most likely. One year later, PwC’s opinion remains largely unchanged.
PwC notes that four of the most significant issues remain outstanding:
1. agreement on the future framework for trade;
2. the dispute resolution mechanism needed for future trade relations;
3. resolving the question of the Irish border; and
4. governance of the Withdrawal Agreement.
