Eversheds Sutherland, with a team led by the partner　Alessandro Vischi, provided assistance on a new Private Equity deal.

The Eversheds Sutherland team was also composed by the associate　Giovan Battista Biondo　and the junior associate　Marianna Loprevite　for the corporate and shareholders' aspects, the partner　Daniela Viaggio, assisted by the junior associate　Antonio Muscarà　for the financing aspects, the partner　Valentina Pomares　and the associate　Giulia Basso　for the labour aspects and the partner　Alessandro Greco　and the associate　Lorenzo Maniaci　for aspects related to the golden power notification, assisted ITAGO SGR S.p.A., on behalf of the closed-end investment fund Itago IV, in the structuring, documentation and complete execution of the investment transaction, through leverage finance, and acquisition of a majority stake in the Italian based company Eco-Techno Srl. This company is a market leader in waste water purification systems, water recycling and raw material recovery through the production of evaporation, crystallisation and vacuum concentration plants, with more than 2,000 plants installed worldwide.

This leveraged buy-out deal strengthens the presence of the Private Equity fund ITAGO in the above-mentioned industry. With sales in all continents, Eco-Techno is the expression of the highest quality standards in the industry of vacuum evaporation, crystallisation and concentration plants production. The company's profound propensity for research and development has enabled a continuous evolution of the technology, supporting companies towards waste reduction and energy efficiency.

The investment in Eco-Techno once again confirms ITAGO's strong focus on companies with a solid orientation towards sustainability, contributing to a zero-waste, zero-emission industrial future.
