Eversheds Bianchini welcomes Marco Franzini as new banking and private equity partner

Eversheds Bianchini, the Italian offices of global law firm Eversheds, strengthens its corporate department with the appointment of new Partner Marco Franzini in the banking and private equity department. As of September 2, 2013 Marco will be responsible to coordinate and further develop the Banking and Private Equity practice of the firm in Italy.

Marco Franzini, a lawyer since 1990, advises funds, banks and companies on M&A, private equity, corporate finance and restructuring. Prior to joining Eversheds, Marco worked for 15 years as a partner at Simmons & Simmons where he held the position of head of private equity Italy, country head and member of the international board of the firm. Marco has also been a partner in the Italian law firm De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani and started his career as in-house lawyer at Banca Intesa (formerly Cariplo).
