Eversheds Sutherland advises Gulf Capital on the combination of its portfolio company

    Eversheds Sutherland has advised Gulf Capital, one of the largest and most active alternative asset management firms in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), on the combination of its portfolio company, the CWB Group with the PETOŠEVIĆ Group.

    The CWB Group is a leading regional intellectual property services consultancy that assists its clients in implementing solutions to obtain, manage, protect, enforce, and commercialise their intellectual property.

    The PETOŠEVIĆ Group is a leading IP service provider which offers IP rights portfolio management services and all related IP services aimed at acquisition and protection of existing IP rights, from simple prosecution, all the way to complex litigation.

    The CWB-Petosevic combination forms an unrivalled super-regional firm, based in Abu Dhabi Global Market, which will service and manage the intellectual property portfolios of global clients across 52 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.

    The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Partner, Zeid Hanania and Principal Associate, Steve Jennings supported by Senior Associate, Rhydian Wyn, and Associate, Ryan Todd. Partner, Cristina Audran-Proca, provided additional support. Principal Associate, Yasman Ekrami and Associate, Katherine Martineau advised on Luxembourg law matters.
