Eversheds helps AerData Group to spread its wings on its sale to Boeing

  • Netherlands

Law firm Eversheds has advised the sellers of Dutch aircraft fleet management company, AerData Group, on their sale of the group to Boeing.

Based in the Netherlands, AerData provides integrated software solutions for lease management, fleet planning and technical services for aircraft and engine operators, lessors, and maintenance, repair and overhaul companies.

AerData has approximately 120 employees across the Netherlands, UK and Ireland. Managing directors, Mark Nieuwendijk and Paul van Tol, will continue to lead the business under Boeing’s ownership.

    Nieuwendijk and van Tol commented:

“We are very pleased that Boeing recognises our hard-won success, and values our products and our talented people. By joining the Boeing family, AerData will have access to a broader global support network to help expand and support our customer base worldwide. Eversheds provided invaluable advice and support coupled with a seamless and holistic approach from inception to completion.”

The Eversheds UK team was led by partner Richard Moulton, assisted by senior associates Victoria Groves and Colin Askew and associate Adam Martin. The team was closely supported by colleagues in Eversheds’ Amsterdam office, partner Tom van Wijngaarden and associate Rogier de Haan.

    Richard Moulton commented:

“This is a very positive step for AerData and we wish them continued success.”
