Eversheds Sutherland advises the International Facilities Services Group

Eversheds Sutherland has advised the International Facilities Services (IFS) Group, together with its shareholders, in respect of the US$35million investment by the Development Partners International’s African Development Partners II fund.
The transaction comprised multiple transaction steps which included onshore and offshore structuring, multiple shareholder reorganisations and required various competition and South African Reserve Bank approvals.
The IFS Group is a leading provider of Facilities Management Solutions in Africa, offering world-class, tailor-made solutions for both remote and urban sites throughout the continent. The core services include catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, equipment-supply and management. The IFS Group has key customers in numerous African countries including Mozambique, DRC, Namibia, Zambia, South Africa and Lesotho. Its services a broad range of sectors including hospitality, natural resources, shipping and mining.
