High praises for our Pro Bono department
- Africa
06-07-2021
Our Pro Bono department has received high commendations regarding a matter that they recently settled for a client at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration. The client, who was unfairly dismissed for alleged gross dishonesty, has given special thanks to both Themba Khumalo and Luyanda Mthimkhulu for their professionalism in achieving a successful outcome and monetary compensation for the client, who, but for Eversheds Sutherland’s Pro Bono department, would not have had access to top-quality lawyers to handle his case.
“We would like to thank both Themba Khumalo and Luyanda Mthimkhulu for their professionalism, knowledge, sensitivity, and sincerity in the manner with which they conducted this case. Throughout the process they provided clear counsel and instruction, regular communication, and realistic expectations”, says Janet Erasmus on behalf of our client.
Congratulations to Themba and Luyanda who despite having to work remotely as a result of Covid restrictions, successfully handled the case with the utmost level of support and professionalism.
Assisting those in need is the sole purpose of the pro bono department and the outcome of this case illustrates its immeasurable significance.
