From the saddle into the lawyer's robe – Eversheds Associate Sarah Leutwiler finishes her international jockey-career in Hollywood

    Sarah Leutwiler finishes her international Jockey-career in Hollywood at the occasion of celebrating the Her Highness Sheikh Mansoor Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival in Hollywood. Among fifteen other lady jockeys from five different continents, the Eversheds associate was nominated for the Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Darley Award. The Award took place at the famous Dolby Theatre in Hollywood where the Oscars are awarded every year. The Award for the Lady Rider of the Year in racing with Arabian horses went to Rachel King from the UK.

    After having ended her jockey-career, Sarah Leutwiler is now planning to focus on her career at Eversheds. Since April 2013 she has been working in the Swiss Eversheds litigation team.

    Since 2005 Sarah Leutwiler is a board member of the Swiss Jockey Association. In 2007 she became a board member of the Suisse Jockey Club where she is amongst other tasks responsible for the adaptation and implementation of the regulations governing horseracing in Switzerland. Since 2012 she regularly acts as a steward on racecourses in Switzerland.
