    Eversheds Sutherland advising Terra Firma on the disposal of brighterkind care home portfolio

    Eversheds Sutherland is advising Terra Firma, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, on its proposed disposal of the brighterkind care home portfolio to Barchester Healthcare.

    Terra Firma’s portfolio company has entered into an agreement for the disposal of a portfolio of 24 care homes to Barchester Healthcare, following a competitive process. 

    Corporate Partner Simon Masters and Legal Director Jamie Partridge led the Eversheds Sutherland team in delivering the deal. The team comprised Partners Colin Askew (tax), Nancy Brown and Elizabeth Cartwright (real estate), Legal Director Rachel Cooper (commercial), Principal Associate Graham Wallwork (real estate), Senior Associates Annika Unsworth (corporate) and Marie-Charlotte Chambers (finance), and Associates Sam Jones, Omid Kheradmand (corporate), and Matthew Cummings (tax).
