    Pamela Thompson, Co-global Chair at Eversheds Sutherland, is appointed to the Advisory Board of the City of London Corporation’s independent taskforce

    Eversheds Sutherland is pleased to announce that Pamela Thompson, Co-global Chair, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of an independent taskforce, led by the City of London Corporation.

    Commissioned by the HM Treasury and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the taskforce aims to boost socio-economic diversity at senior levels across the UK’s financial and professional services sectors.  

    The Taskforce’s mission is to challenge the lack of career progression for those coming from non-professional backgrounds and to explore the intersections with other protected characteristics, including gender and race.

    Pamela’s role within the Advisory Board will include:

    • Informing - shaping the taskforce’s work
    • Influencing - raising awareness of the need to address socio-economic diversity and showcasing case studies of lived experiences
    • Improving - boosting socio-economic diversity at senior levels within Eversheds Sutherland and beyond

    Pamela Thompson commented:
