Eversheds Sutherland has been appointed as primary provider to Lucozade Ribena Suntory’s (LRS) inaugural legal panel.

The global legal practice has been appointed to the panel as a provider to LRS for over ten practice areas in the UK and across the board in Ireland.

The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by competition Partner Julia Woodward-Carlton with support from litigation Partners David Young and Stephen Barry, IP Partners Rupert Bent and Marie McGinley, Principal Associates Kate Ellis and Catherine Henney, Senior Associates Edward Tompkin, Lisa Highet and Enda Cullivan and Solicitors Lisa Devanny, Emma Trainor and Ciara Geraghty.

    Julia Woodward-Carlton commented:

‘Having previously successfully worked with LRS on developing online competition law training, we are delighted to deepen our relationship across many different practice areas. The appointment demonstrates not only our deep sector experience and broad range of expertise, but also our cultural alignment with LRS, which was of the utmost importance and value to the client.”

Mary Guest, LRS’s General Counsel, commented:

“We wanted to run the panel selection a little differently to a traditional pitch. Whilst we of course wanted to appoint the firms with the best capabilities, we also wanted to ensure the firms selected would deliver innovative solutions, working collaboratively with the in-house team, to enable LRS to achieve its vision from the perspective of not only the legal team but also the wider business.”
