- Global
09-02-2017
Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP has advised Primary Capital Partners LLP (Primary) on their investment in Readypower Engineering Limited (Readypower).
Readypower is one of the foremost accredited suppliers of professionally-operated plant hire services to the regulated rail sector in England and Wales.
Primary is supporting Russell Jack (CEO) and Tony Hepburn (COO), who have led the business for the last five years and in that time, have presided over a period of high growth in revenue and profits. This has been driven by Readypower’s reputation for the highest levels of reliability and customer service and the breadth of its specialist, certified rail assets.
The Eversheds Sutherland (International) team was led by partner and head of corporate and private equity, Richard Moulton and comprised: partner Ben Jones (tax), legal director Wyn Jones (corporate), principal associates Colin Askew (tax) and Clint Dempsey (banking), and associates Alex McCarney (corporate), Laura Shortall (banking) and Angus Simpson (corporate).
Richard Moulton commented: “We are pleased to have worked alongside Primary again on their exciting new investment in Readypower. We wish the company all the best and will be on hand to support them over the coming years as the business moves from strength to strength.”
Alistair Armstrong of Primary commented: “Eversheds again did an excellent job in supporting us on all the legal aspects of our investment in Readypower. They quickly pinpointed the key issues during due diligence and were efficient and commercial in their approach to helping us negotiate a full suite of transaction documents. We look forward to working with them again in the near future.”
