Eversheds Sutherland strengthens Corporate offering with M&A heavyweight

    Corporate capability bolstered with new Legal Director appointment

    Eversheds Sutherland has further strengthened its corporate practice with the appointment of Legal Director, Jamie Partridge. Jamie joins Eversheds Sutherland from Addleshaw Goddard, where he was a Legal Director.

    Jamie is a highly experienced corporate lawyer focused on mergers and acquisitions (including cross-border transactions), initial public offerings, secondary issues, equity fundraisings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. He has particular experience advising clients in the retail and consumer, TMT and manufacturing sectors.

    Jamie has advised on a range of recent high-profile deals, including Norcros’ £60m class 1 acquisition of Merlyn Industries and related equity fundraising, the £145m AIM IPO of Sumo Group plc, Zeus Capital and Jefferies International’s £130m accelerated bookbuild fundraising for online fashion retailer and its shareholders and comic writer Mark Millar’s sale of his business to Netflix.

    Jamie is listed as one of the Legal 500’s Next Generation Lawyers in corporate and commercial.
