Eversheds takes Tyco to the next level with new two year contract

  • United Kingdom

Global law firm Eversheds has announced today the extension of its multi-million pound contract with US industrial conglomerate Tyco.

Tyco has signed a two year deal, marking the fourth renewal of the ground breaking contract, first signed with Eversheds in 2006. The new contract will continue to help deliver transparency and control over external spend across the entire EMEA region.

Dave Symonds, Tyco EMEA GC said:

“Tyco and Eversheds have worked together since 2007, identifying areas for improvement on both complex and basic work. We are impressed how the model has operated and the level of service we have received. We are excited to grow and develop this partnership.”

Stephen Hopkins, Tyco client partner for Eversheds comments:

“Eversheds and Tyco have gone against the grain to offer an arrangement which offers absolute spend control to the client. The relationship has reached a new landmark, by delivering a fixed fee across more than 40 jurisdictions for all routine work, underpinned by strong project management and detailed data.

“We have impressed Tyco over the years with the quality of our work which has been recognised by awarding us complex engagements, such as M&A which now forms the majority of the Tyco work. We continue to work with Tyco, using innovation to develop further efficiencies and commercial solutions across the board.”
