Eversheds appoints new Senior Office Partners across UK offices

    Global law firm Eversheds has announced new Senior Office Partner roles for the firm’s London, Newcastle, Nottingham and Cardiff offices. The changes will take effect as of 1 May 2014.

    In London, financial services partner Pamela Thompson will be the new London Senior Office Partner. Pamela takes the reins from pensions partner Anthony Arter who has held the role for the last five years. Over the last few years, Anthony has been intrinsic in spearheading and promoting a number of initiatives in the firm’s London office, ranging from important CSR projects with local communities through to driving collaborations with key City institutions.

    Pamela Thompson, a highly regarded partner in the firm’s financial services team was last year named as one of the 100 most influential women in the financial markets by Financial News in its 2013 ranking.

    At the same time, in the Newcastle office, partner and head of the firm’s shipping group Stephen Mackin will be taking on the role of Newcastle Senior Office Partner. Stephen takes the helm from restructuring partner Paul Dutton who has held the role for the last two years and will now be undertaking a broader role within the Northern corporate restructuring teams.

    In the Nottingham office, employment partner Mark Fletcher will be assuming the role of Nottingham Senior Office Partner. Mark takes over from commercial partner James Fry who has held the role for almost six years.

    Meanwhile in the Cardiff office, real estate partner Kathryn Roberts will be taking on the role of Cardiff Senior Office Partner. Kathryn takes the reins from Alan Meredith who has held the role for the last 14 years.
