The Eversheds team were awarded the Planning for Transport Infrastructure award for their work on the East Midlands Gateway Rail Freight Interchange and the Waste and Minerals Planning award for the York Potash Project at the national Planning & Placemaking event at London’s Savoy Place on 23 June 2015.

The Planning Awards, run by Planning magazine, celebrate outstanding achievement in planning work by local authorities, consultants, developers, lawyers, voluntary and neighbourhood groups and all the other key players in the planning system.

The team were also highly commended for Planning for Energy Infrastructure for their work with Dagger Bank Teesside A&B offshore wind farm and Planning Permission of the Year for their work on The York Potash Project.

Stuart Andrews, Eversheds’ head of planning, said:

“We are delighted to have won these awards. It has been very rewarding to work on these projects and this accolade is a testament to our team’s exceptional capabilities in the market.”
