Synopsis

This briefing will update you on how criminal allegations, charges, arrests, convictions and acquittals affect recruitment, decisions and the employment relationship.

We cover likely changes to the filtering system, the risk of over-reliance on a disclosure certificate, employment candidates from overseas, and the significant financial and criminal penalties for unlawful checks.
