Global Business Mobility Routes: what sponsors need to know

Who should attend

This course is aimed at those within organisations who have responsibility for immigration issues, at all levels. It is suitable for HR, global mobility and legal professionals who operate the Sponsor Management System or who intend to do so in the future.

The Home Office continues to make changes to immigration routes into the UK for work and business reasons. On 11 April 2022 we saw the Intra Company Transfer (ICT) route revamped and diversified into five new Global Business Mobility routes, some based on previous ICT routes, some completely new.

We expect to see the new Scale up and High Potential visa routes launched later this year in accordance with the Governments broader UK Innovation Strategy. This session will guide attendees through the requirements for each new visa to equip you with knowledge of each route, identifying any key considerations for your organisation as a result of the changes.

  • Examination of the new Global Business Mobility route and the five elements including periods of leave, settlement and conditions:
    • Senior or Specialist Worker
    • Graduate Trainee
    • UK Expansion Worker
    • Service Supplier
    • Secondment Worker
  • What does sponsorship means for each elements of Global Business Mobility?
