Introduction to US employment law
Who should attend
This US employment law training course is relevant to international HR managers and directors who have responsibility for employees in the US. It will also be useful for managers and directors who anticipate entering the US market and who need to be aware of their obligations in a new jurisdiction. In-house counsel who have responsibilities for US employment compliance will also benefit from the broad overview and practical approach to addressing US employment matters.
Synopsis
The United States is a complex marketplace and employment rules vary significantly across the states. Our training course is led by a US lawyer with over 30 years’ experience advising companies ranging from large multinationals to small start-up enterprises.
We will provide you with a broad overview of US employment law, highlight significant areas of variation from state-to-state, provide an outlook on potential changes under the new administration and offer practical advice for approaching your US employment issues.
