Practice notes

Terence is an Associate in the Corporate and Financial Services practice group. He handles a broad range of commercial transactions and also advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, IPOs and regulatory matters affecting the financial industry and Fintech.

His recent experience includes:

  • Advising a major construction company on the share placement and IPO on the SGX;
  • Advising a leading SGX listed construction company on an interested person transaction;
  • Advising a SGX listed infrastructure development company on the renewal of the share buyback mandate and review of corporate governance disclosures;
  • Representing a private investment firm on cross-border convertible loan agreements and share subscription agreements with an Indonesian counterparty;
  • Advising blockchain companies on its Initial Coin Offering and Securities Laws in Singapore;
  • Advising a UK payment services company on the licensing requirements in Singapore; and
  • Representing a global air traffic service company in bidding for consulting services with various international airports.

Terence graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2017 with Second (Upper) Class Honours in Law. During his time in NUS, he was awarded the Keystone IT Law Prize and was the champion team in a business consulting competition that aimed to assist social enterprises to develop their business.

Terence is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 2018.
