Insurance

As insurers both domestically and internationally seek to maintain and extend customer base, they also realize the importance of effectively managing multiple risks inherent in new products and services, whilst adjusting to the realities of new regulatory environment.

In our law office, we not only read insurance policies, we help our clients create and develop them. We have been at the forefront of Latvian insurance industry and count two of the largest domestic insurance companies among our clients.

We strive to adjust our services to the contemporary challenges, objectives and innovations of the insurance industry. We have advised several key clients on both routine insurance operations and extraordinary strategic projects.

We aim to be partners to our clients which may turn to us for any legal advice. In the past we have provided our clients operating in the insurance sector with advice in employment, personal data protection, tax and commercial law.

We have in-depth experience in handling disputes involving complex insurance and reinsurance issues, some of which involved international aspects. We have brought numerous subrogation claims and have an extensive experience in insurance litigation involving fire accidents.
