The Government of the Republic of Lithuania declared quarantine till 16 April, 2020

    OMarch 25, 2020, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania adopted a resolution No 226 Regarding the Government of the Republic of Lithuania resolution No 207 ‘‘Regarding the announcement of quarantine in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania“ amendment and declared quarantine on the entire territory of the Republic of Lithuania effective from 16 March 2020, 00:00, until 13 April 2020, 24:00. 
    Also, it is proposed to increase the fines imposed on natural and legal persons who do not comply with the quarantine restrictions. Penalties for natural persons for violation of the rules will range from 500 to 1,500 EUR (instead of 150 EUR), for companies from 1,500 to 6,000 EUR (instead of 600 EUR), and the police will obtain the right to write offense records.
    On March 25, 2020, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania adopted a resolution No 226 Regarding the Government of the Republic of Lithuania resolution No 207 ‘‘Regarding the announcement of quarantine in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania“ amendment and declared quarantine on the entire territory of the Republic of Lithuania effective from 16 March 2020, 00:00, until 13 April 2020, 24:00. 

    The resolution does not impose any new restrictions. Existing limitations are supplemented by the exception that financial services are not prohibited when they are provided in grocery stores, supermarkets and / or entertainment centers. It has been established that petrol containing less than 10 percent of biofuels can be sold at the fuel sales points during the quarantine period and 14 calendar days after the quarantine period, ensuring the quality standard requirements.

    Also, it is proposed to increase the fines imposed on natural and legal persons who do not comply with the quarantine restrictions.
