New Polish whistleblowing act. What may it mean for business?
Webinar | 23 February 2022 | 4:00-5:30 PM (CET)
Why join our webinar?
The first draft of the Polish act on protection of whistleblowers was published on 18 October 2021, its purpose was to implement the UE Whistleblowing Directive (no. 2019/1937). The deadline for implementation expired on 17 December 2021, however the legislative works on the Polish act are still pending. Currently, an updated version of the Polish draft act is expected to be published and it is possible that the implementation will be completed in the first quarter of 2022. As a result, employers will need to comply with the new provision and possibly adjust existing whistleblowing policies..
