Amendment of Money-Laundering Act

A workshop entitled “Amendment of the Money-Laundering Act” will be held on 6 March 2013 at Golden Floor Plaza in Warsaw. The event is organized by V Financial Conferences.

The workshop will cover such topics as the duties of staff of institutions with compliance obligations under the money-laundering act in Poland, methods for carrying out these duties, and how to prepare effectively for external inspections. The workshop is designed for staff of financial institutions.

Our law firm will be represented at the event by Magdalena Chrzan, an attorney at law on the banking and finance team, who will give a presentation discussing the European Commission’s report on implementation of the Third Money-Laundering Directive (2005/60/EC) in the member states, and will also discuss customer due diligence obligations.
