Corporate IT Seminar: Open-Source Intelligence
The 25th edition of the Corporate IT Seminar, entitled “Open-Source Intelligence: How to Obtain Information about the Competition—Analytical Tools for Risk Management and Supporting Decision-Making Processes,” will be held in Warsaw on 26 November 2013. The organizer of the event is Centrum Promocji Informatyki.
The event will cover a broad range of issues involving trade secrets, including:
- The importance of information in business
- Using data mining techniques to obtain a competitive advantage
- Legal aspects of open-source intelligence in Poland
- De-positioning of websites as an act of unfair competition.
Our law firm will be represented by attorney at law Tomasz Zalewski, the partner in charge of the Intellectual Property and E-business teams, who will give a presentation on the rules for protection of confidential information in business practice, discussing the following issues:
