9th Public Relations Congress

The 9th Public Relations Congress, organized by Bonnier Business (Polska) Sp. z o.o., will be held in Warsaw on 26–27 February 2014.

The topics to be covered on the first day of the conference include:

  • The latest trends in PR and communications
  • Integrated communications campaigns using social media
  • The ABC’s of communicating sensitive brands
  • Issues connected with search engine optimization and blogs.

The conference is designed for managerial staff, directors of PR departments, spokespersons, PR specialists, heads of internal communications, and others involving in communication functions in companies, institutions and PR agencies.

Our law firm will be represented by Michał Balicki, a lawyer from the Labour Law team and co-author of the employment law blog kodeksWpracy.pl, who will give a presentation entitled “Social Media Policy,” in which he will discuss:

  • An employee’s duties to his or her employer
  • The employer’s ability to monitor employees’ activity on social media
  • The concept of permissible criticism of an employer
  • Consequences of violation of employment obligations.
