The Gas Market in Poland

A conference and workshop entitled “The Gas Market in Poland,” organized by Movida Conferences, will be held on 18–20 March 2014 at the Business Development Institute, Sienna Training Centre, in Warsaw.

The event will include an analysis of the current situation on the gas market, prospects and planned changes, alternatives to natural gas, and new conditions on the commodities exchange for gas.

Our law firm will be represented by attorney at law Łukasz Jankowski, manager of the energy practice, who will give a presentation entitled “Change in law affecting the gas sector,” in which he will discuss:

  • The “Little Energy Trio” and resulting new rights and obligations
  • The tariff regulation—main changes, new rights and obligations
  • Proposed legal changes—regulations governing renewables, shale gas, and transmission corridors.
