New Consumer Law: Most important changes in duties of sellers, e-commerce, complaints, and contracts concluded at a distance
A workshop entitled “New Consumer Law: Most important changes in duties of sellers, e-commerce, complaints, and contracts concluded at a distance” will be held on 25–26 June 2014 at Digital Knowledge Village in Warsaw. The event is organized by Nowoczesna Firma S.A.
The theme of the event will cover:
- Changes concerning contracts concluded at a distance
- Duties to inform the customer and penalties imposed by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection
- Prohibited contractual clauses
- New obligations of online shops
- Complaint procedures under the latest regulations.
The first day of the workshop will be led by:
- Dr Aleksandra Kunkiel-Kryńska, who specializes in EU consumer law
- Wiktor Rainka, a lawyer on the intellectual property team
- Paulina Józefczuk, head of the competition law team.
They will give the following presentations:
