Competition Law: Latest Changes, Current Issues

A workshop entitled “Competition Law: Latest Changes, Current Issues” will be held on 4–5 February 2015 at the Sheraton Warsaw Hotel. The event is organized by MMC Polska.

The conference will cover such issues as: 

  • The scope of liability under the new competition act
  • The most common instances of anti-competitive arrangements and abuse of a dominant position
  • Leniency procedures.

Our law firm will be represented by attorney at law Paulina Józefczuk, head of the Competition Law team, who will give a presentation entitled “What agreements can be grounds for accusing a company of participating in bid rigging?” during which she will discuss:

  • Types of prohibited horizontal and vertical agreements
  • The latest rulings by the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection
  • Errors and difficulties that can arise
  • Possible countering tactics and defence strategies.
