SME Revolutions: How are new technologies changing products, business models and operations of enterprises in Poland?

The first in a series of conferences entitled “SME Revolutions: How are new technologies changing products, business models and operations of enterprises in Poland?” will be held on 24 February 2015 at the Wrocław Technology Park. The series is organized by Rzeczpospolita daily under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The event is designed primarily for SMEs and for businesses implementing and exploiting new technologies.

Our law firm will be represented at the event by attorney at law Tomasz Zalewski, the partner in charge of the E-business, Intellectual Property and Public Procurement teams. In his presentation, entitled “Technological innovations: Pros and cons from the legal perspective,” he will discuss the following issues:

  • Cloud computing and trade secrets
  • Pluses and minuses of cloud solutions
  • The Internet of Things and personal data
  • Social media and conflict of identity between the individual and the firm
  • The Internet as a database—protect your own data or exploit the data of others?
