13th Local Government Capital and Finance Forum
The Local Government Capital and Finance Forum is a prestigious event which has served for years as a platform for sharing knowhow, where heads of local governments can meet with representatives of state administration and the business community. This year’s forum will include an overview of the past 25 years of local government in Poland, and will also address the challenges facing local governments in the near future.
The agenda for the forum includes over 50 panel discussions and debates concerning such areas as local government finances, European funds, investment attractiveness, innovation, cities of the future, municipal companies, renewable energy sources, communal waste, social policy, healthcare, and educational finances.
Aleksandra Kunkiel-Kryńska will take part in the panel discussion on the new approach to public procurement. In her presentation she will discuss the legislative proposal for the new Public Procurement Law and indicate necessary changes.
Nearly 700 people will take part in this year’s forum. They will include leaders of territorial governmental units, experts, and representatives of the state administration, business, culture, NGOs and media. The organizer of the event is Municipium SA, publisher of the Polish local government magazine Wspólnota, and the partner and host for the event will be the City of Katowice.
The detailed agenda and registration form are available at the organizer’s website.
