Combating Abuses in Capital Groups
A workshop entitled “Combating Abuses in Capital Groups” will be held on 5–6 November 2015 in Warsaw. One of the speakers will be Dr Krzysztof Haładyj.
The workshop is designed primarily for persons responsible for combating abuses harmful to the interests of capital groups, managers, directors of legal departments, and compliance, risk management and internal control officers.
The agenda will cover:
- Management of the risk of abuses in the capital group
- Scope of non-statutory ownership supervision
- Legal instruments for capital group management—acting in the interest of the holding company
- Differences between a holding company agreement and a capital group cooperation agreement
- Confidential information in light of changes in law.
Dr Krzysztof Haładyj, the partner in charge of the firm’s Banking & Finance practice, will give a presentation on the entitlements of the parent company and the duties of subsidiaries with respect to ownership supervision and cooperation with the supervisory board in exercising ownership supervision.
