XXII ICT Forum
On 29-30 September 2016 in Miedzeszyn XXII Information and Communication Technologies Forum will be held. This year’s main theme will be: „A state in cyberspace - from isolation to cooperation". One of the lectures will be held by Dr Arwid Mednis and Gerard Karp.
The following sessions are scheduled during the forum:
- Poland in cyberspace – expectations and barriers
- information infrastructure – condition, challenges, key projects’ prospects
- information systems security: services, architecture, data exchange, security
- cybersecurity – structure, technologies, responsibility
- Internet of things
- economic aspects of state’s informatisation
- synergy of telecommunications and information as a condition for digital modernisation of the state
- the quality of the information infrastructure and the modernisation of the state
Dr Arwid Mednis and Gerard Karp will speak during the session dedicated to the Insurance Information Systems - their lecture will focus on the legal aspects of profiling people in the insurance sector. This year, the theme of the session will be fraud in the insurance sector, including IT solutions supporting the processes of detection and analysis of this kind of abuse.
Honorary patrons of the XXI ICT Forum are the Ministry of Digitisation, the Polish National Bank, the University of Warsaw and the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
