The New Public Procurement Law Nationwide Conference
Wierzbowski Eversheds is a knowledge partner of the New Public Procurement Law Nationwide Conference. The event will be held on 5 April 2016 in Warsaw.
The New Public Procurement Law Nationwide Conference is an event devoted to the new procurement rules arising out of the need for Poland to implement the European Union’s new set of procurement directives. The conference is designed for contracting authorities, contractors, lawyers and anyone else interested in public procurement law. It will be an excellent opportunity to discuss with a group of distinguished experts in the field the changes ahead that will affect all participants in the public procurement market.
The issues to be discussed during the conference include:
- The quality of implementation of EU directives into Polish law
- The most important changes in public procurement law
- Potential traps and dangers under the new rules
- Simplifications for contracting authorities
- Exercise of legal measures by contractors
- Public purchasing and the business side of awarding public contracts
Among the speakers on the panel on the quality of implementation of EU directives will be Tomasz Zalewski, the partner in charge of the public procurement practice at Wierzbowski Eversheds.
The conference is organized by Zamawiający. Zamówienia Publiczne w Praktyce, a specialist bimonthly providing the best knowledge on public procurement from a team of the top experts in the country. The strategic partner for the event is the Federation of Polish Businesses (FPP). The other partners for the conference include the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and the British Polish Chamber of Commerce.
The Polish bar associations will award 5 training credits to their members attending the conference.
