New rules for fixed-term employment contracts

New rules for fixed-term employment contracts
We invite interested persons to attend a workshop on the new rules for fixed-term employment contracts entering into force on 22 February 2016. Contracts in force on the effective date of the new rules may require the employer to take specific actions within 3 months after the effective date, i.e. by 22 May 2016. The employee’s prior length of service with the given employer will be calculated one way for purposes of classification of the contract, under the “3/33” rule, and a different way for purposes of determining the length of the termination notice period. Our training event will help participants prepare for these changes and their consequences.
The workshop, in the form of a business breakfast, will be held on 27 January 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Wierzbowski Eversheds, ul. Jasna 14/16A, Warsaw.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Because we have a limited number of places, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but we reserve the right to give priority to Wierzbowski Eversheds clients and business partners. Registration by lawyers from other law firms will be considered only if space is available.
The event will be conducted in Polish. More >>>
