Krzysztof Wierzbowski, senior partner and founder of Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland, has received the title of “Lawyer of the 30 Years” for his distinguished contribution to the growth of the legal profession during the era of transformation in Poland. The distinctions were awarded by a jury under the auspices of the Polish Union of Legal Employers (PZPP). Rzeczpospolita, one of the leading Polish business dailies, was a partner for the initiative. The distinction of “Lawyer of the 30 Years” was awarded to 39 individuals. The award ceremony was held on 3 December 2018 at the Sobański Palace in Warsaw.

The committee honored lawyers who over the past 30 years have played a key role in the creation and growth of the law firm market, recognizing their contribution to the process of Poland’s systemic transformation from 1989 forward, laying the foundations for a free Poland and eliminating undesirable remnants of the old communist system.
