In recent years he has succeeded in building up the firm’s advice for the financial sector, expanding the firm’s portfolio of clients to include leading banks on the Polish market. He has completed numerous large, legally and commercially complex projects. He has consistently expanded the banking and finance practice toward project finance transactions. Apart from transactional banking, he has also expanded the team across other areas, such as banking regulation, the payment sector, and projects combining finance and new technologies with a chance to revolutionize the Polish financial and FinTech sector.

Under his leadership the team pursues numerous judicial disputes of varying profiles, and also resolves disputes using ADR methods, on many occasions reaching advantageous settlements for clients. In recent years the practice has reinforced its position advising leading air carriers, as the firm’s Aviation Desk serves a larger and larger group of clients from this sector. Two other lawyers in the team headed by Maciej have also advanced.
