How to take the first step towards green energy and properly prepare for an investment related to the construction of your own solar power plant? What should you know? What documents do you need to collect and what does the administrative process look like? Find answers to these questions in the report developed by Eversheds Sutherland Wierzbowski and Sun Investment Group.

Łukasz Petelski (energy law expert in the Governments & Energy team) and Krzysztof Ławrywjaniec (Head of PPA at SIG) present the results of their joint work, proving that green energy from photovoltaics is no longer the future, but an ecological and economically justified present. The study was created to support entrepreneurs who do not have sufficient knowledge about photovoltaic installations.

The authors want to encourage companies to invest in green energy sources and show that the process of building their own photovoltaic installation is not complicated. Those who decide to create their own source of green energy will find many tips in the report that will help improve the investment and construction process.

The report is divided into the technical and business part, and the legal part. The part devoted to technical and business issues focuses on the characterization of the current situation and the future of the Polish RES market. It describes business models for implementing investments in PV, technologies, and presents a collection of analyzes showing the economic benefits of photovoltaics. The legal part covers topics related to, inter alia, the requirements that must be met by the location intended for the investment and the formalities that await the investor.
