Renata Patoka is an attorney at law on the M&A team at Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland. 

She specializes in commercial law and legal support for M&A transactions, including corporate restructuring. She also deals with property law and food law. Her practice includes advising insurers on issuance of warranty and indemnity liability insurance in M&A transactions, having completed 16 projects of this type (buy-side and sell-side policies).
She has nearly 20 years of experience providing legal advice to businesses. She supports clients in M&A processes by preparing, coordinating and negotiating a range of domestic and international transactions. She conducts due diligence, supervising the work of the teams.
She advises clients in the food sector on market launch, advertising law and product liability. She has led a number of legal audits in the field of food law, including assessing companies’ compliance with the requirements of domestic and EU law on regulatory matters, consumer protection, labeling and presentation, and food advertising. She also applies her regulatory experience in the food law sector in mergers and acquisitions and due diligence processes in this area.
She is the author of the chapter on dietary supplements in Food Law Studies (edited by Prof. Małgorzata Korzycka-Iwanow, Liber 2006).
