Employment
We adopt a pragmatic approach to help our clients identify and solve the problems they face in dealing with every aspect of the employment and engagement of individuals and in coping with changes in employment law. The firm routinely advises on issues arising at every stage of the employment relationship including recruitment, retention and dismissal, as well as complex processes such as restructuring and transfers of undertaking or protecting businesses against competition. We also advise on compliance with law, employee benefits, share incentive schemes and implementation of effective compensation and severance arrangements. The employment team also provides employment and employment compliance audits and advice on conduct during investigations or audits from the labour inspection authorities.
Where employment issues become contentious, we can advise on disputes and deal with compromise agreements and employment court claims.
Our attorneys also provide a variety of training courses for our clients on employment law issues, delivering customized and practical lectures on day-to-day employment issues in the ever changing legislative environment and the uncertainty of court dispute outcomes in a widely employee-favourable judiciary system.
Our services include:
- assessment, drafting and negotiating individual employment or management agreements
- employment disputes and claims, including employment termination
- agency workers
- protection of employee in the case of transfer of undertakings
- drafting and negotiating collective bargaining agreements
- compliance review of internal documents and procedures (e.g. drafting internal rules and regulations, drafting employee assessment and supervision procedures)
- collective dismissals and restructuring
- assistance during audits of the labour authorities
