Global dispute resolution for clients from the CIS

Just because you are from or doing in business in the CIS, it does not mean that your disputes will be settled there. Many corporations choose to resolve disputes in global litigation hubs because they are seen as more efficient, impartial and predictable than local courts. In other cases, corporations are responding to arbitration or litigation commenced by others, or even to criminal or regulatory investigations by governments.

Whatever the nature of your conflict, our CIS team has the skills and experience to help you resolve it in an efficient and advantageous manner. We emphasise concise and commercially-aware advice, leveraging our experience and understanding to reach settlements that are practicable in the context of regional markets.

Our lawyers have extensive experience advising clients from the region. Many of the those who we represent already have trusted counsel within the CIS. In those cases, we work collaboratively with our clients’ counsel to achieve seamless case management.

Eversheds Sutherland represents its clients in dispute resolution across all the main litigation and arbitration centres. We have extensive expertise in representing clients in courts and arbitration fora in England & Wales, Singapore, Switzerland, France, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the United States of America and the Dubai International Financial Centre, among others.
