Competition law, public procurement and marketing law
We advise Finnish and foreign clients in competition law and public procurement matters, including;
- restraint of trade,
- dominant market position,
- state aid,
- merger control, joint ventures, distribution contracts,
- competition law damages,
- competitive tendering, litigation and public administrative procedures in public procurement, and procurement contracts.
Our service concept centred around dawn raids is one of the services Eversheds Sutherland provides globally. We offer our clients an app designed to meet the needs in the event of a dawn raid. The app can be accessed through the mobile version of our website. We advise our clients throughout the investigation by the competition authorities: we will arrive on site when the dawn raid begins, monitor e.g. that no legally privileged documents are investigated, assist the client in controlling its communications regarding the dawn raid, advise the company’s personnel in relation to the authorities’ interviews, and draw up the necessary correspondence with the authorities. If the matter proceeds to court, we will represent the client in the Market Court and the Supreme Administrative Court with years of experience. In cross-border cases, our competition law experts in other Eversheds Sutherland offices are only a phone call away. Click here for more information on our tools in case of a dawn raid .
We advise in marketing law , assisting clients with a range of internationally specialised requirements, such as;
- checking the compliance of marketing plans,
- drafting marketing communication and sales contracts (such as agreements acquiring rights to the design and content of marketing communications),
- Internet law,
- e-trading and other remote selling,
- social media law,
- affiliate marketing,
- consumer protection between business and consumer,
- product safety and product liability.
