- Germany
02-02-2021
Eversheds Sutherland further expands its service portfolio in the area of Corporate/M&A. As of 1 February 2021, Alexander Dartsch joins the practice group as Counsel in the Dusseldorf office.
Alexander advises national and international clients on cross-border M&A transactions, in particular in the energy and infrastructure sector. He specialises in advising energy supply companies and industrial corporations in connection with the energy transition.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Alexander has worked as a lawyer at White & Case for almost six years and for a leading German private equity investor within the framework of a secondment.
"We are very happy to welcome Alexander Dartsch in our team. With his expertise, we strengthen our range of advisory services in the cross-border transaction practice with a special focus on the energy and infrastructure sector," says Dr. Maximilian Findeisen, Partner in the Corporate/M&A practice group and Co-Head of Eversheds Sutherland's Dusseldorf office.
Alexander adds: "The growth of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany, in particular the very dynamic development of the energy practice as well as the worldwide network of the legal practice impressed me very much. I am very happy to become part of the Dusseldorf team and to contribute my expertise to such an exciting environment."
The Eversheds Sutherland office is a rising star on the Dusseldorf market. Just recently, Dr. Philipp Büsch joined the Dusseldorf office as Counsel in the area of public law who, just as the Dusseldorf Partners Dr. Werner Brickwedde (Corporate/M&A) and Dr. Martin Weitenberg (Energy Law) who also came from Clifford Chance, particulary advises on transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector.
