Reconomy enters international market by acquiring German Noventiz Group with Eversheds Sutherland

Eversheds Sutherland has advised Reconomy, the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management and environmental compliance services, on the acquisition of the German waste management service provider Noventiz Group. The seller is the German PE house SEAFORT Advisors.
The deal marks an important milestone in Reconomy’s strategic plan, as the first overseas acquisition made by the group. It is a key development towards the group’s ultimate ambition of being the leading global provider of services to the circular economy.
Reconomy is the UK environmental sector’s leading outsourced waste and resource service provider with an all-encompassing waste management service that looks to enhance the environmental and financial performance of its customers.
Based in Cologne and founded in 2007, Noventiz provides innovative packaging compliance services for commercial customers in Germany. Noventiz delivers tailored solutions on waste and packaging disposal, whether sales packaging, transport packaging, waste electrical and electronic equipment or batteries.
