Eversheds Sutherland advises Pacific Eagle on the refinancing of the acquisition of the Munich office property “Ludwig”

    Eversheds Sutherland advised the Singapore-based family office Pacific Eagle on the partial refinancing regarding the acquisition of the Munich office property “Ludwig”. The loan was granted by BayernLB.

    Pacific Eagle had acquired the office complex at the prestigious address Ludwigstrasse 21 with KanAm Grund Group acting as investment and asset manager. The main tenants of the around 27,000 square meters of office space in the building complex, the facade of which with its neoclassical to neo-renaissance style is shaping the traditional north-south axis from Odeonsplatz to Siegestor in the heart of Munich, are Boston Consulting Group, Allianz and the data analysis start-up company Celonis. The “Ludwig” comprises three building units, i.e. in addition to Ludwigstrasse 21, also the buildings Theresienstrasse 4, 6, 8 and 10.

    It was the first time that Eversheds Sutherland provided legal services to Pacific Eagle advising the real estate investor on all aspects of the financing.
