Accelerator Academy

Accelerator Academy

We are delighted to announce that RTE broadcasted a piece on the Accelerator Academy on Monday 17 February. This piece aired on nationwide and showcased our latest Accelerator Academy candidates.

We are partnered with the Royal Irish Academy of Music to support four young up and coming international musicians in reaching their full potential and ensuring they thrive on and off the stage.

The Accelerator Academy programme provides each participant with; Media training, public speaking training, internship/work placement opportunities in the private sector and €2,000 a year for two years to cover out of pocket expenses while competing.

In September, the four girls Catherine Cotter (Cellist), Claire O’Connor (Violinist), Dida Condria (Pianist) and JulieAnne Forrest (Violinist) put on a great performance for us at the National Concert Hall. These four 16 year olds have incredible talent and are definitely stars in the making.

Charity Matters- We want to help

Given the outbreak of Covid-19, we appreciate that charities and not-for-profits are finding themselves in a very difficult position and we want to help. We would like to offer our services to give pro bono advice and a forum to discuss any Coronavirus related queries or concerns with a designated solicitor from our firm. We can assist in any legal issues you may have, in particular relating to employment, real estate, corporate and litigation matters.

What is included?

A 30 minute session between you and a designated solicitor is included. We will then review your issue and advise on next steps and recommendations.

How does it work?

To apply, please email Emma Armstrong an outline of the query you would like to discuss. We will then assign you a solicitor with experience in the appropriate area, who will reach out to book your session.

All charities need to be registered with the Charities Regulator.

All matters will be dealt with in strict confidentiality.

You can book your timeslot as either a Zoom video conference or a telephone call, depending on your preference.

Each timeslot will be for 30 minutes in duration.

This is an initiative by our firm's CSR Committee. It was launched in the understanding that people are already navigating significant health and economic challenges and finding legal help shouldn’t be another burden.

World Environment Day - Webinar: Ideas for growth - Practical tips and advice on sustainability from the VOICE

To celebrate ‘World Environment Day’ on Friday 5 June - we will be hosting a webinar with Mindy O’Brien from VOICE for our employees on Thursday 4 June.

Mindy will talk to us about what we can do during these unusual times and what we can expect post-Covid, in how we consume and what will become the new normal to adopt solutions that will help us combat runaway climate change and our plastic addiction.

VOICE is a member-based Irish environmental charity that empowers individuals and local communities to take positive action to conserve our natural resources. VOICE advocates for the government and the corporate sector to adopt environmentally responsible behaviours, and for the development of strong national policies on waste and water issues.
