Investor Immigration Programmes (IIP and STEP)

Ireland, as an open and pro-business economy, is regarded as one of the best places in the world to do business. Ranked 4th in the Forbes Best Countries for business it holds the highest ranking for an English speaking EU Member State.

Foreign Direct Investment remains central to the development and success of the Irish economy, with many US, European and Asia-Pacific businesses locating their overseas offices in Ireland.

The Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP) and the Strat-up Entrepreneur Programme (STEP) facilitates Non-EEA investors in availing of the opportunities of investing and locating business interests in Ireland.  Under IIP and STEP, Non-EEA investors who meet the relevant qualifying criteria will be granted residence in Ireland, permitting them to work, study and start their own businesses.
